Head of Logistics For Manufacturing Co

“Head of Logistics” is required in a Well-known Manufacturing Company located in Cairo, downtown
· Days Off – Friday only

Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, and distribution.
·Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery.
·Manage relationships with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs clearance agents.
·Ensure smooth customs clearance processes and resolve any potential delays proactively.
·Coordinate closely with internal departments (procurement, production, sales) to align logistics activities with business needs.
·Monitor logistics performance metrics and continuously optimize processes.
·Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics service providers.
·Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local laws.
·Handle urgent and critical shipments with high responsiveness and availability.
·Lead and develop the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, with a strong focus on international markets (Europe & the Middle East).
·Proven experience in managing logistics operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment (experience in copper or similar industries is a plus).
·Strong network and established relationships with shipping companies and logistics providers.
· In-depth knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international shipping regulations.
·Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to overcome operational challenges efficiently.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
