Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza for a Procurement Mechanical Engineer. The primary responsibilities include analyzing project requirements and sourcing appropriate mechanical equipment and components, managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement, and contributing to machine design and optimization. Additional duties involve leveraging technical expertise to ensure quality standards for materials and components, as well as collaborating closely with project teams to support operational needs. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
- Experience in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Project Management skills to oversee and optimize procurement processes
- Ability to conduct Research and Development (R&D) for mechanical solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain roles is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
