a Logistics Specialist is needed for a very well-known exporter fresh fruits and vegetables company
Jobs Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or related field.
-must be an Alexandria resident
-Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
-1-3 years’ work experience in Exporting Fruits and vegetables /food industries
(having a background in the Citrus Sector is preferred)
-Presentable, has a professional approach and attitude
– Multilingual is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Make Booking between our company and shipping lines and agents.
• Negotiating rates for export shipments with worldwide agents and carriers.
• Follow up and review BLs drafts and any additional documents.
• Follow up with tracker & trucking process.
• Manage and follow the customs clearance process activities.
• Responsible for all export shipments processes and documentation.
• Make all reports and details involved for export shipments.
• Keep a Soft & Hard record for each shipment.
• Follow up all opened operations.
• Check the arrival dates for the shipments with shipping lines and keeping records.
• Prepare all documents to our customers and deliver to them.
• Update the status of the shipment in daily basis.
• Send a daily operation reports to the responsible manager.
