MCV – Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles is looking to hire a “Logistics Specialist”:
📍Location: Obour
*Job Responsibilities:
▪ Coordinate with suppliers once goods are ready to arrange shipping.
▪ Manage shipping activities with carriers and freight forwarders in line with company agreements.
▪ Create ACID numbers for shipments and ensure suppliers upload documents on CargoX.
▪ Review and verify shipping documents for accuracy and completeness.
▪ Request shipment insurance when required.
▪ Submit shipping documents to the customs clearance department.
▪ Coordinate with customs clearance and procurement teams to resolve missing information.
▪ Request payments for suppliers and shipping companies.
▪ Track shipments until successful delivery to the warehouse.
▪ Escalate any issues related to goods to the procurement team.
*Job Requirements & Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; Logistics is preferred.
▪ 2+ years of experience in Logistics / Shipping.
▪ Good command of English.
▪ Knowledge of and experience with international shipping, bookings, documentation and transportation functions.
▪ Strong organizational and time management skills.
▪ Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
▪ Ability to juggle multiple changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
▪ Ability and willingness to take initiatives.
