Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the procurement engineering section with a primary focus on CAPEX assets (machinery, equipment, production lines) and technical spare parts.
- Plan and execute procurement strategies for capital assets and spare parts to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to define technical requirements and specifications.
- Negotiate with local and international suppliers to achieve the best commercial terms, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on purchase orders and contracts in compliance with approved budgets.
- Evaluate and develop suppliers and build long-term strategic partnerships.
- Monitor procurement costs and contribute to cost optimization and budget control.
- Prepare periodic reports related to CAPEX spending, spare parts consumption, and procurement performance.
- Support asset replacement, renewal, and expansion plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- +8 years of experience in procurement, with proven exposure to CAPEX and spare parts.
- Strong understanding of technical specifications, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Good command of the English language.
