Procurement Manager – Egypt

Residency Requirement: Alexandria residents only
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to lead our local and international purchasing operations, supporting the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage all local and foreign procurement activities.
· Supervise and mentor the Foreign Purchasing Specialist and Local Purchasing Officer.
· Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
· Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
· Monitor supplier performance and cultivate strong, long-term business relationships.
· Ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery of materials.
· Collaborate closely with logistics, finance, and other internal departments.
· Ensure strict compliance with company policies and established procurement procedures.
Qualifications:
· Experience: 5–8 years in procurement or purchasing management.
· Expertise: Deep knowledge of local and international procurement processes.
· Language: Good to excellent command of English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
· Industry: Previous experience in the marine field is highly preferred.
· Skills: Strong leadership, team management, negotiation, and communication abilities.
· Mindset: Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
