Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist with 3–5 years of experience in production or quality operations. The QC Specialist will play a vital role in monitoring production lines, inspecting raw materials, supervising in-process and final product testing, and ensuring adherence to Eurofert’s internal quality standards. This role also ensures compliance with ISO requirements and regulatory guidelines, while supporting continuous improvements in efficiency, product quality, and plant performance.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has proven expertise in quality control within chemical, fertilizer, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. They are a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in addressing quality deviations. With strong knowledge of ISO systems and SOPs, they can ensure processes run smoothly while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with internal SOPs and approved quality standards.
- Conduct routine sampling and inspection of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products.
- Verify that results meet specifications and immediately report deviations or non-conformities.
- Coordinate with laboratory and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality checks, inspections, and corrective action follow-ups.
- Support the development and refinement of internal processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Supervise pilot trials and support in developing new formulations or mixtures as required.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, as well as health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Perform equipment calibration and verification in alignment with the calibration plan.
- Provide timely reports on quality metrics and deviations to management.
- Perform any other duties related to product or process quality as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry, Agriculture, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a production or quality-related role, preferably in fertilizer, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Good understanding of industrial process control and quality monitoring techniques.
- Proven ability to handle quality deviations, sampling, and reporting effectively.
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing.
- Strong communication and reporting skills in English.
